Only A Fool Ignores Rational Argument – It Is Sad There Are So Many Of Them!

So Eire has chosen to allow gay couples to marry.

Being brought up in the fifties and sixties I had always considered marriage to be a union between male and female. I had felt that while two females or two males should be able to have equal opportunities as a couple, equal rights as a couple and equal status as a couple, somehow the word ‘marriage’ did not apply. Perhaps, I wondered, should there be three different partnerships, marriage for MF, another word for MM and a third for FF? I didn’t know what those words might be.

Have They All Gone Mad? We’re Living In A Hovel!

I want to introduce a concept to you. Imagine the country is your home. It is made up of the bricks and mortar, the roof, the inner walls and windows. It includes certain essential living items like a cooker, central heating, fridge, carpets, beds, furniture and within that we place our luxuries such as televisions, stereo system, food mixers, microwave, cutlery, glasses, wine, food, overseas holidays, new cars, dining out etc.

Ed Miliband – Hopeless, Simply Hopeless

Ed Miliband, hopeless, simply hopelessI have been saying, since this clown was elected, that he is the wrong man for the job. His brother would have been a far better choice.

Now it is so near the election a change could be a disaster. On the other hand a change now could inspire labour voters to switch allegiance back from SNP in Scotland and over from UKIP in the rest of the UK. There are a number of good options including Cooper.

Hopefully, sooner rather than later the idiots supporting UKIP will realise that it would be a total disaster if the UK left Europe. The promised referendum is a nonsense, too, because the strength of arguments for staying in Europe are overwhelming. It’s just a waste of public money.

British politics seem to be in a total mess at the moment and it is difficult to see any really promising outcome in the near future.

Scots Lead Puts The Fear Of God Into Osbourne & The Tories

The latest poll shows YES ahead by a couple of points and what happens?

Immediately we see panic among the NO campaigners and the chancellor, this morning, says they will now be publishing a package of new devolved powers. If this was a serious offer it should have been made before postal votes, like mine, were sent in. It is obviously a panic measure because it hasn’t been published until sometime next week.

This shows exactly how serious the government is to seriously consider extra devolved powers. Now we await their concocted new measures. More fool anyone who believes them.

Of course it is only one poll, but it certainly seems to have put real fear into the Tories. They can see all the resources Westminster has previously exploited slipping away from them and their greedy business partners. Here’s the poll report.
