What Has Happened To The BBC’s Attention To Detail?

CLOSE TO THE ENEMY

Just watched the first episode of this series set in about 1946. Some of it was well done, but come on BBC, no one had heard of designer stubble in ’46 which the main character, Ferguson, exhibited. However, his brother had a huge shock of hair which would have been unheard of during wartime.

When so much trouble had been gone to with clothes and vehicles this was a REAL disappointment. They were also too laid back.

By the way, did the British army really drive Jeeps?

WAKE UP BBC! You can do so much better than this.
