Ukraine. Isn’t this what I’ve been saying all along? Better put though.

I’m hoping ForeignAffairs.com won’t mind me copying part of the article taken from this page. to get John Mearsheimer’s excellent points across.

According to the prevailing wisdom in the West, the Ukraine crisis can be blamed almost entirely on Russian aggression. Russian President Vladimir Putin, the argument goes, annexed Crimea out of a long-standing desire to resuscitate the Soviet empire, and he may eventually go after the rest of Ukraine, as well as other countries in eastern Europe. In this view, the ouster of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in February 2014 merely provided a pretext for Putin’s decision to order Russian forces to seize part of Ukraine.

Cameron & Darling Think The Scottish People Are Too Stupid & Ignorant To Understand!

David Cameron laughing because he thinks the Scots are stupid and ignorantWatch the news and you will be listening to David Cameron and Better Together talking about the child care plan of the Scottish government. What they are saying shows that they are assuming the Scottish people are either too stupid or too ignorant to understand how it works.

If you don’t understand the child care issue please read this as it will make it extremely clear in simple terms and will also show why Cameron and Darling are being so disingenuous.

One Hundred Businesses Tell You To Vote No – Don’t You Wonder Why?

This is such an easy question to answer. Put yourself in their shoes. You would then either own your own business or would report to your shareholders.  You are likely to have a salary of up to hundreds of thousands of pounds and might even get million pound plus bonuses. You would employ an army of accountants to cheat the rest of the population out of their rightful share of your tax. No wonder you are against Independence because you are then likely to have left of middle governments who will ensure you pay your share of taxes. It’s a no brainer for them to be against Independence. Obvious.

I Received This Reply To My eBooks Post.

This reply is in response to the post you will find at: Why Are EBooks So Expensive?

Thank you for writing to me in response to Amazon’s email.  I appreciate that you care enough about books to take the time to write.  We usually don’t comment publicly while negotiating, but I’ve received a lot of requests for Hachette’s response to the issues raised by Amazon, and want to reply with a few facts. Invade Iraq; re-arm them; Army abandons weapons; enemy takes them; arm Kurds to destroy enemy’s arms! Great thinking!

American weaponry being used by ISIS terroristsThe heading shows that the American arms industry has almost the same potential as the undertaking industry. And how similar they are. I wonder if they have formed a cartel? You cause all the deaths and make money doing it then we’ll bury the dead. Admittedly they haven’t quite got the hang of exporting funeral services and have, so far, only got as far as creating the dead bodies.

Middle East: God Proves His Non-Existence Ever More Conclusively!

The latest beheading of a journalist shows the type of religious fanatic the world now encounters. They are in the same vein as the 9/11 murderers, the Spanish Inquisition, the Christians who persecuted witches, the murderous fanaticism of protestant Cromwell and catholic popes who decreed that it was all right to murder people if they were not Christian. Religious nutters, one and all!

We are now hearing debates between politicians, religious leaders and political commentators about what ‘we’ should be doing in Iraq.

Why Voting “NO” Is As Negative As It Sounds. Think Of The Opportunities. Grasp The Chance Of Real Change.

There is no point me typing this if those of you of the same mind don’t forward the link to your “No” friends and acquaintances. You can even add your own comments to it although I’d appreciate it if you made it clear what you have added.

An Independent Scotland can decide how to use our wealth and resources to benefit us, our families and those who have generations to come.

This is what will happen if there is a vote in favour of independence:

Have they frightened you into voting “no”? Read some of the positives about Scottish Independence below:

Experts agree that Scotland is one of the wealthiest countries in the world. Here’s what just some of them say:

“Even excluding North Sea output and calculating per capita GDP only by looking at onshore income, Scotland would qualify for our highest economic assessment,” said Standard and Poor’s Credit Rating Agency.

“Assuming a geographical allocation of North Sea oil and gas production, the Scottish economy would rank among the top 50 in the world by size of GDP, and would be relatively wealthy, richer than the rest of the UK and in the top 20 countries globally in terms of GDP per head,” said the Financial Times on 2nd February 2014.

“By international standards Scotland is a wealthy and productive country. There is no doubt that Scotland has the potential to be a successful independent nation,” said the Fiscal Commission Working Group.

Why Are Ebooks So Expensive?

As a Kindle author I received this email from them recently and I think it is worth repeating here in full. If you feel strongly you can send the letter they mention at the end to support the cause for lower priced eBooks.

Dear KDP Author,

Just ahead of World War II, there was a radical invention that shook the foundations of book publishing. It was the paperback book. This was a time when movie tickets cost 10 or 20 cents, and books cost $2.50. The new paperback cost 25 cents – it was ten times cheaper. Readers loved the paperback and millions of copies were sold in just the first year.
